The One Who Wasn't There Cover Image

A writer writing a true story is visited by two of his characters. And they want changes.

Following the death of his mother and the disappearance of a 'friend', a burnt-out filmmaker finds inspiration in telling their stories. But when stories have two sides and secrets must be kept, what remains of the truth?

Writer/director Mark Weatherby finds out in "The One Who Wasn't There", when mother and friend return to edit his screenplay in a meta black comedy about life, love and leaving.

A novella by David Hofberg. Available in print, ebook and audio formats from 22 May 2018.
